PALM SPRINGS DESKTOP.COM ASSISTS NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS

After spending ten years in a non-profit environment, the founder of Palm Springs Desktop.com realized that non-profit organizations should be able to benefit just as much as for-profit businesses, by utilizing the power of the Internet, and by taking advantage of a well distributed electronic newsletter. In addition to providing valuable information to the desert's Internet community, non-profit organizations would have an added opportunity to introduce their services to a unique audience -- the desert's Internet community.

From its inception in November 2003, Palm Springs Desktop.com began accepting press releases from local non-profit organizations at no cost, for publication in the Palm Springs Desktop.com daily e-newsletter. The only criterion for inclusion in the e-newsletter is that these organizations provide a service such as a free concert, lecture, or low cost activity that provides a benefit of some kind to the community.
